Replaced my mountain bike, November 15, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Diamondback Insight 3 Performance Hybrid Bike, 700c Wheels (Sports) I never own a bike outside of a mountain bike, but boy am I glad I made the switch. I bought this bike for the Century 100 miles bike tour in New York which was held in September and I'm more than happy to say that I was able to complete the ride and I am still enjoying the bike. Bike is light weight, has premium parts, and works well. I have yet to run into any problems.

He said the $498 Amazon price was a steal, lower than his cost. Paid him to assemble it, added Topeak Explorer Bike Rack with Spring, bike computer, Polar Insulated Water Bottle and cage, and Delta Bicycle Strapless Toe Clipsand off I went. This bike is sweet. Much closer to a road bike than most hybrids. The ride is a little stiffer than other hybrids because of the 28c tires, but shifting is smooth and the braking is good.
