Pacific Cycle Women's Oceanside Bicycle (Light Blue) Reviews
8 of 8 people found the following review helpful it's OK .... considering the price, September 23, 2011 This review is from: 26" Oceanside - Adult (Sports) For the $109 price I didn't expect much ... the components on the bike are the cheapest you can find. My other bikes are from bike shops and are kind of expensive. To compliment the expensive bikes I wanted a cheap bike(so cheap it is almost disposable) to ride the the market and the pub and if it got stolen I wouldn't cry. I could have built a dependable cheap cruiser but since i have two other project bikes in the garage I wanted to purchase one ready to go for cheeep. The Pacific Oceanside fits the bill almost. In college I used to work for a name brand bike MFG as an in store assembler and repair tech and have assembled hundreds upon hundreds of bikes of all types and price points so i have a fairly wide range of experience with all types of bikes. This one has some bright points and some not so good points. Pacific Bikes is part of the same company that now makes Schwinn, Mongoose, Roadmaster and a few other brands, so i figured its quality would be close to the others in many... Read more

She asked for a light blue and the only one I could find at a brick & mortar was $235.00 and didn't look any nicer then this one. She has been enjoying it and said it is perfect in every way.
10 of 11 people found the following review helpful Good Entry-Level Cruiser...Get What You Pay For, February 10, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: 26" Oceanside - Adult (Sports) I bought this for my girlfriend so that she could get back into riding bikes (she hasn't ridden since she was a child), and so far the build quality seems to be O.K. Everything came well-packaged, except the fenders were a little bent. Honestly, I'm not that big of a stickler about the fenders because I don't plan to actually be riding at the beach with her, or on rainy days. That being said, with a little creative bending I can straighten the fenders out, but for now I'll leave them off. The chainring and freewheel are in good condition/coaster brake works well, and the rear wheel only needs slight truing. A lot of people who would buy a bike this cheap would think by now that I have a lot of work ahead of me, but this bike has been the simplest/quickest to assemble (under 30 minutes), and these odds and ends won't take long to correct. We plan on taking our first ride this weekend (weather permitting), so I'll update this as soon as we've taken it out on its maiden voyage, so... Read more
